Sunflowers!

Before the rains came yesterday, I took a pic of the sunflowers that are growing via our bird food! They are so pretty but already on the way out. I thank God for letting us see His glorious creations!

What a wonderful time of year this is! I sit in the carport and drink my first cup of coffee of the day and get to see all the spring wild flowers, the birds that eat on our bird table (when Missy and/or Lola don't run 'em off), and Missy running around the yard doing her business and playing ball. Lola is very pregnant and just kind of lays on the concrete or generator.

Lola adopted us in February and I believe was pregnant when she found us. We can't wait for her to have her kittens so we can have a bunch of kitties running around! Mark, Nikki, and I are all cat lovers so I know it's gonna be hard to give them away, altho we have decided to keep one...ONE male!

I am still working on the pink and gray afghan. I finished the baby blanket, took pics of before blocking, washed and blocked it and haven't taken any pics of it finished. Maybe tomorrow :o/

Thank you for coming to my blog and reading about my boring life....but I love it!!!
