Back again!!

I hate that I don't come here more often...I love showing and sharing my lil crafts! Looks like the last time I was here was in April. Hmmmm....quite a bit has happened....Mark was diagnosed with bladder cancer and in May the doctors removed his bladder, prostate, and all lymph nodes in the pelvic area. He now has a stoma and will require an urostomy forever. BUT he is alive and cancer free!! God is awesome!!

I've been busy crafting. I thought I would go for Christmas ornaments, so, without further ado, here are some things I have done...so far! lol


These are some of the felt gift tags/ornaments. Very simple and rustic. I'm having a blast doing these while watching tv.










Here are some crocheted ornament covers. Crocheting is so relaxing and I enjoy doing these, again, while watching tv. Does anyone see a pattern here? LOL

Don't get me wrong, I dearly love all crafts (and have tried most), but I think needlework is my first love. And cross stitching is my favorite. Over the years I have worked many pieces, and either gave them as gifts, sold them, or used them myself.

Today I am going to start recording my progress on a simple piece that is close to my heart. Winnie the Pooh!! It's simple, but getting me back into x-stitching. I have a cute lil Christmas piece I'm wanting to get into asap. So anywhooooo....here is the first pic of my piece.



This is about a month old...and I haven't been stitching all along. But I plan on staying on task and taking daily pics. ***But don't hold me to it!!***
